My Film Noir Pitch
When America's most successful businessman lands his biggest deal yet, his secretive seductress has one final job for him- his last one ever.
This gripping Film Noir includes murder, a web of lies, hidden pasts and a big job with a deathly deadline. This movie will thrill any Film Noir fanatic and will definitely have you on the edge of your seat. You won't regret embarking on this whirlwind ride.
Chuck Lazzaro , the owner of New York city's largest business has just landed his biggest partnership with the second largest association in America. A lucky strike. But his luck is about to come tumbling down as he finds himself distracted by a powerful, sexy burlesque dancer who goes by the name of Penny Walker. As the relationship unfolds, his seductress quickly finds her new victim a job. Little does he know, her unfinished business is about to become his main priority. Everything he has worked for his whole life will be sabotaged for the sweet and filling taste of revenge. Will he realise his mistress is using him before it's too late or will he fall for the trap?
Leonardo Dicaprio would be a good actor to play Chuck Lazzaro and his secretive seductress would best be played by Sofia Vergara. This film would be shown at independent cinemas and film festivals and if people like it, it would be also shown at multiplexes. This film is like a sexier 'Act of Violence' and is aimed at adults aged 25+ and would be a 16 rating.

EXT: LAZZARO FIRM- DAY
In the middle of New York, a grand building stands out of the soaring skyline.
LAZZARO (voiceover)
It was a beautiful day, the New York sun shone brightly and the city was buzzing with life. Business had boomed in the previous months and Lazzaro's Law Firm had made it's way to the top in no time. Dough was rolling in and the lines were on fire like never before. I had arrived to work early, as I was expecting the most important call yet.

Listen up, everyone. It's been a long year for all of us and everyone's worked extremely hard. I am more than happy to announce that all of our efforts have payed off. I am going uptown to Williams and Son's office tomorrow to sign our biggest contract yet.
People cheer and congratulate him
EXT: WILLIAMS AND SON'S LAW FIRM- DAY
LAZZARO(voiceover)
I had been waiting for this day for a couple of years. In fact, a few months before Pops passed, we had been arranging our first meeting with Williams and Son's, which was the biggest law firm in the States at that time. They never showed much interest in us before, but now that business was booming, they wanted to collaborate. This would be the greatest deal in the history of American Law Firms.
INT: WILLIAMS AND SON'S OFFICE- DAY
WILLIAM, a middle aged, handsome British man, well dressed, owner of Williams and Son's.
WILLIAMS
Lazzaro! Great to see you, glad you could make it. Whisky?
LAZZARO
No ice, thanks. So about these papers, we ready to sign them today?
WILLIAMS
Yes, of course. Loretta, would you be a dear and bring over the papers?
LORETTA, a young, attractive woman, Williams' assistant
LORETTA
Just sign here, here, here and here.
LAZZARO
It was nice doing business with you, Williams but I'm afraid I must go. We're throwing a little party tomorrow downtown at the Royal Serena, come along if you wish.
WILLIAMS
Sure, goodbye.
INT: ROYAL SERENA- EVENING
people are cheering and partying, jazz band in the background.
LAZZARO(voiceover)
Everyone was having a blast and I had never felt this free and happy in my life. I had everything. Except, did I? When I saw her, I knew she was the missing piece. A beautiful, rare diamond amongst my many treasures. She glanced in for a few seconds and walked straight back out. I followed her footsteps out the door. She made my heart beat faster than a criminal on a cop chase. She sat down on the bench outside, leaving space, almost an invite for me to come and sit down. And I was going to. But she got up and left, I watched her disappear into the dark mist of the night. I stood there, confused, but then i noticed something. A white piece of paper on the bench. Of course, her number. I was just about to go back in and call but then I realised. I don't need anything distracting me from the most important thing in my life right now- my firm.
INT: CASINO- EVENING
LAZZARO

INT. LAZZARO'S OFFICE-DAY
LAZZARO (voiceover)
That night I called her. Little did I know I would be calling her every night for the next few months. I quickly fell, madly, deeply in love with her. Who wouldn't? She was perfect.
LISA
How's that bet going?
LAZZARO
I should have the money by tomorrow, doll.
LISA
Good. I mean... alright.
INT. LAZZARO'S HOUSE- EVENING
LAZZARO(voiceover)
Everything crashed. She used me, of course she did, why did it take me so long to realise? I was trapped in her web, caught up in her manipulative lies, blinded by her beauty, blinded by my love for her. But she was toxic. The gambling got too much, I lost the contract, my business went bankrupt. As soon as the money stopped coming in, so did she. I sacrificed everything just to see her happy. The day I told her I couldn't gamble for her anymore, she left with everything i had ever bought her. And never looked back. Just left me here. She had me fooled, such a pure looking, angelic dame. I played all my cards and I had nothing left to give. Heartbreak? No this wasn't heartbreak. This was
