Review
Super 8 is a sci fi film about a group of children discovering aliens and helping them to build a spaceship to go back home. It included a group of protagonists who build a strong relationship as the movie goes on. The antagonists, surprisingly are not the aliens but the army forces. The aliens are shown as scary and intimidating at the start but Joe reveals the alien's soft side and that they are in fact friendly. The film uses mise-en-scene very effectively. It uses make up to show the intimacy of the characters. The facial expressions Pictures |
